Mail Sender Type: Dedicated Sender Address

After creating a new marketing campaign, you need to fill in the necessary information according to the instructions on the settings page, such as recipient list, email subject, sender name, sender address, etc. SmartPush currently supports three delivery methods, namely Default Sender address, Dedicated Sender address, and Custom Sender address. You can choose different ways to suit your needs.

Dedicated Sender Address

Merchants can apply for the store's official mailbox to be a dedicated sender address. After applying for a dedicated sender address, the merchant will use the exclusive sending channel and not mix it with other stores, so the delivery effect is the best.

This method requires the user to go to the domain name management to add specified DNS records in the background, and this method is suitable for merchants with a monthly sending volume of over 10,000. Merchants have to maintain the domain name's reputation and channel quality by themselves.

Here’s how to create a new dedicated sender address:

1.

  • Method 1: When creating a new email marketing campaign, find the “Sender” section on the settings page and click Add new sender address.
  • Method 2: Click Settings in the left menu bar to enter the following process:

2. Click Add a new sender email address. In the pop-up window, select Add a dedicated sender address.

3. Fill in the application form according to the FAQ guidelines for applying an independent sending domain name. It is strongly recommended that you use a secondary domain name as the sending domain name to avoid sending marketing emails from affecting the performance of your primary domain name.

4. After submitting the application form, someone will contact you via email within 48 hours. Go to your domain name management background and add the corresponding record according to the second-level domain name DNS resolution information in the reply email. After that, reply to the notification email and inform us that the addition is complete.

5. The operating team will then inform you whether the verification is passed or not after the verification of your sending domain name is completed. If the verification fails, the operator will guide you for further operations.

6. The verified sender domain name will be added to the “Sender domain name” background, and you can start using your sender mailbox. The splicing rule is abc@mydomain.com, and the abc part can be named by yourself, and mydomain.com is the verified sender domain name.

7. You can periodically delete unwanted domain names, but please note that they cannot be recovered once deleted.
