Synchronize Customer Group List to SmartPush

SmartPush supports 20+ dimensions to filter out the targeted customer groups, including basic attributes (name, email, gender...), email channel (email opens, clicks, subscription status...), consumer behavior (purchased products, no. of orders...), but not limited to the listed tags. You can find all filter conditions under the [Contacts] > [Segment] in SmartPush.

 

Moreover, to improve the store’s reach rate, SmartPush has connected the customer groups in the SHOPLINE Admin ([Customer Management] > [Customer Group]) to support sending marketing email/SMS to the specific group. (The SHOPLINE Admin here refers to https://admin.shoplineapp.com/

 

You can apply the customer segments in 2 ways:

1. In the Admin, go to [Customer Management] > [Customer Group]. Select a group to view the list, click Actions, and select Send SmartPush Email Broadcast to start creating a SmartPush email campaign.

2. When you create an email/SMS marketing campaign in SmartPush, expand the “Recipient” drop-down menu and check the boxes under "SHOPLINE customer groups." You can send marketing messages to specific customer groups from the store Admin.

Note: SmartPush only synchronizes the latest list of the customer group.

For example, there is a group named "Ready to repurchase on Valentine's Day", and SmartPush will only synchronize the most updated list, “Customers who are preparing to repurchase on Valentine's Day-3”. Since the list will be constantly updated, you will always find the latest version of the customer group list in the SmartPush “Recipient” drop-down list.

 

However, if you have already selected to send the message to a certain customer list, SmartPush will lock the setup so that you will send the message to the chosen list at that time instead of the latest one.

Synchronization timing and data

1. Once you install SmartPush, the application will start synchronizing the latest list of all customer groups.

2. You may find that the email/mobile number pushed to SmartPush is inconsistent with that in the Admin. It is because SmartPush eliminates unsubscribed, non-subscribed, and blacklisted contacts.

3. It may take some time to synchronize a large number of contacts for the first time. Please wait patiently.

4. Creating or deleting a customer group in the store Admin will automatically synchronize to SmartPush in real-time. SmartPush will update the contact details under the corresponding group. If the group is not updated on the same day, the contact details under the corresponding group will be updated at 0:00 every day.

5. If a group is deleted in the store Admin, the campaign sent from SmartPush will not be affected, but the group will no longer be found for creating or copying marketing campaigns.
