Smart Campaign Booster is a feature that helps merchants improve their marketing campaign effectiveness. With this feature, you can send a second email specifically to contacts who have not opened the first email so as to prevent sending too many emails to the same recipients. The open rate for the second email is predicted to be 30% higher than the first email.
- About Smart Campaign Booster
Smart Campaign Booster can automate your campaign scheduling and sending. Once activated, it will be available shortly after the first marketing campaign is generated. The booster campaign will have similar content to your first one, effectively saving your setup time. To avoid sending too many emails to recipients, Smart Booster Campaign will only send the second email to those who haven't opened the first email (not limited to campaigns with different subjects but the same content).
In accordance to the statistics, we have set the default sending cycle for the Smart Campaign Booster to 48 hours. You can edit the default sending cycle in the "Settings" page or when creating the first marketing campaign. The sending cycle can be set between 48 - 120 hours. Upon completion, you only need to set up the additional campaign subject and the content preview, and SmartPush will take care of the subsequent tasks for you.
- How to enable Smart Campaign Booster
There are two ways to create a Smart Campaign Booster campaign:
1. Check the “Smart Campaign Booster” option when creating a new campaign. Then, enter the booster subject, content preview, and the sending time.Last but not least, click Go to Design Email.
2. Go to SmartPush > [Campaign] > [Campaign List], select the successfully sent campaign and click [Action] > [Create booster].
*Note: This feature is only available within a specific set time after the first campaign is sent.
Both ways require entering a booster subject and content preview. It is recommended to set up a different booster subject than the original campaign to boost the open rate for the email/SMS campaign. Please note that if you forget to enable the Smart Campaign Booster when creating the first campaign, it will apply the system default sending cycle and you will be unable to change the booster time from the "Campaign List."
Once you have enabled the Smart Campaign Booster, the booster campaign will appear separately in the "Campaign List." The campaign status will be "Pending" and the campaign name will start with “Booster of:”.
- Edit the Smart Campaign Booster
If you want to modify the Smart Campaign Booster subject and the content preview, you can go to [Campaign List] > [Pending] and click Pause & Edit.
*Note: The booster time is not editable.
If the campaign is still in draft, you can click on it to enter the setup page. You can modify and click Create. The status will be updated to Pending.
- Smart Campaign Booster Report
You can view the report for Smart Campaign Booster in the "Data Report." Different from general campaigns, the report titles will start with “Booster of:”. After sending, all Smart Campaign Booster stats will be separated from the general stats.
- Edit the Default Sending Cycle
You can edit and manage the default sending cycle for Smart Campaign Booster in the "Settings" page. The default sending cycle is 48 hours, but you can customize it accordingly, from 48 hours to 120 hours. Please note that editing the default sending cycle will affect the existing Smart Booster Campaigns and their sending time.
