Smart Sending is a feature that helps you filter contacts who have recently received the campaign. With Smart Sending, you can effectively avoid sending too many campaigns to customers and reduce the unsubscribe rate.
1. Feature introduction
When creating a marketing campaign, you can check the “Smart Sending” option. The campaign will skip the contacts who have recently received the campaign.
*Note: The default sending cycle for Smart Sending is the one set up in "Settings."
2. Time setting
In the "Settings" page, you can set up the default sending cycle for email and SMS (1-120 hours). The recommended sending cycle is 16 hours.
*Note: Editing the default sending cycle will only affect the newly created marketing campaigns. The existing campaigns will not be affected.
3. Email/SMS notifications
Email/SMS notification is the email/SMS sent automatically by the system for notification purposes (not for marketing purpose).
The email/SMS notification in SmartPush includes Order Confirmation and Shipping Confirmation notifications. If you check the “Ignore transactional email or text messages” option, Smart Sending will not skip users who have only received email or SMS notifications recently.
