HTML Code Block

You can add an HTML Code Block to customize the email style with your own custom code. After inserting the code into the content, the editor will display the preview on the right page. Those with a coding background can directly edit the code on the left page.

Note:

  • The HTML format for email and web design is not completely identical. Many complex HTML and CSS codes are not applicable to email design (i.e., iframe tags will be automatically filtered out). Thus, it is recommended to use simpler coding.
  • Due to the safety protocol of some ESP providers, the HTML Code might appear differently on each platform.

If you are using an HTML block on email, please send a test email to see how it is displayed on different platforms.

  • Images that exceed 1920 x 1080 pixels will not be compressed. The text will be compressed instead
  • Image shape may be altered due to the computer display setting

Outlook 2016 (Mac) Partial

  • Link color defaults to blue unless the preceding text has a color format. The link should be inserted between the <span> and <td> tags. The <div> tag should use a different text color
  • Clicking the anchor link and table of content will open up a blank pop up window
  • Even if the email is left-aligned, the text will be justified by default.
  • No padding between images
