The following feature intro is only applicable to stores with an Admin link of “myshopline.com” and “Shopify.”
For more information about adding users to manage your SmartPush account and operations, refer to How to Authorize for Collaborative Management.
Notes before you start
1. One email can only be used to create one SmartPush account. (SmartPush accounts and myshopline.com/ shopify accountsare two different accounts, with different sets of usernames and passwords. SmartPush does not directly use the main site's account credentials as SmartPush account credentials.)
2. A single SmartPush account can be used to authorize multiple myshopline.com / Shopify stores.
3. After logging into SmartPush in the same browser, there will be a 7-day auto-login period. During this time range, you won't need to log in again (unless you clear cookies from the browser, in which case you'll need to re-enter your account and passwords).
4. If you change your account password, in order to ensure account security, all currently logged-in accounts will be logged out., and you must log in again with the new password.
5. After creating a SmartPush account, you can use the free plan for the stores under your account until you purchase other plans. Check out SmartPush's plans
6. SmartPush currently does not spport login with mulitiple accounts. You can only log in to the system using the main account and password.
7. All data are considered as store data (contacts, marketing campaigns, data reports, plans, etc.). Different stores under the same account can view and access data by switching stores from the upper right corner.
Register a SmartPush account and link a store (when your store isn’t linked to any SmartPush account)
1. In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Apps] and find SmartPush. (If the app has not been installed yet, you can install it first. The procedure remains the same after installation.)
2. The system will automatically check if your store is bound to a SmartPush account. If no SmartPush account is connected, it will automatically direct you to the registration and store binding page, as shown below.
3. Enter your email, password, and verification code (if you haven't found the verification code in your inbox, you can check your spam folder and mark it as "report not spam" to move it out). Check to agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and click on Register and link.
4. Upon successful registration, you will be directed to the SmartPush homepage as shown below.
Log in to the SmartPush system (when your store is already linked to a SmartPush account)
1. In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [My Apps] and find SmartPush. (If the app has not been installed yet, you can install it first. The procedure remains the same after installation.)
2. The system will automatically check if your store is already bound to a SmartPush account. If a SmartPush account has already been connected, it will automatically direct you to the login page, as shown below.
*Note: Please enter the SmartPush account & password bound with your current store.
- If you forget your password, you can reset it through the "Forgot Password" option on the login page. (if you don't see the password reset email in your inbox, check your spam folder)
- If you forget your account, you can first try checking by yourself (usually it should be the store owner's email). If it still isn't the correct account, please contact the Merchant Success Team of SmartPush and they will help you retrieve the corresponding account.
- If the previously bound SmartPush account is no longer in use, you can log in to the account, unbind the store, and then rebind the store to a new SmartPush account. (follow the new binding process in the aforementioned "Register a SmartPush account and link a store” section)
- If the previously bound SmartPush account is no longer in use and you're unable to receive emails, please contact the Merchant Success Team of SmartPush for assistance in unbinding the store. Subsequently, you can rebind the store to a new SmartPush account. (follow the new binding process in the above "Register a SmartPush account and link a store” section)
3. Upon successfully entering your account and password, you can go to the SmartPush homepage.
*Note: If either of the following two situations occur, it means you've logged in with the wrong account and you need to log out and log in again.
- If the account you entered is not the one currently bound to the store, upon logging in, you may not be able to find the store you intended to access.
- If the account you entered is newly registered and hasn't been bound to any store, you might be directed to a page like the one shown below. In this case, it also means you've logged in with the wrong account.
This page supports binding with Shopify stores, "myshopline.com" stores, "Shoplineapp.com" store, and self-operated stores (others).
How to authorize multiple stores under a single SmartPush account
Method 1. Applicable to those who already have a SmartPush account and intend to link multiple stores under the same account
1. Log in to SmartPush, click on the profile icon at the upper right corner, select Store Management, enter the store management page, and click on Authorize new store.
2. Enter the complete store URL and click Confirm to link the store. (Please ensure that the person authorizing the binding has the permission to the SmartPush app which the store is to be bound to.)
Method 2. Applicable to those who do not yet have a SmartPush account and wish to link multiple "myshopline.com" stores under a new account
1. Go to https://app.SmartPushedm.com/account/register to access the SmartPush registration page.
Enter an email that has not been used for registeration before, password and verification code (if the verification code cannot be found in your inbox, please check the spam folder). Check to agree to Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and then click on Sign up to proceed.
2. Next, you will be directed to the page shown below where you can select an e-Commerce platform to link your store.
3. Enter the complete store URL, and click Confirm.
Whether it's the first method or the second one, upon entering the complete Admin store URL, clicking Confirm may lead to the following two situations that may result in unsuccessful binding:
The first method: If the entered store URL is already bound to another SmartPush account, you will receive a direct prompt that this store is already bound to another account and you will have to change the store.
The second method: If the entered store URL is for a main site where you are not currently logged in, you will be redirected to the main site's login page to log in. After logging in to the corresponding store and ensuring that the operator has SmartPush app permissions, successful binding can be achieved. If the permission authentication fails, the binding will not be successful.
How to check if you have SmartPush app permissions for this store? Go to the store > [Settings] > [Administrator and Permissions], and if the SmartPush app is checked, it means you have SmartPush app permissions.
How to unlink between a store from the SmartPush account?
The store data will not be lost when a store is unbound. Once the store is bound to a new SmartPush account, the saved store data will appear again under the corresponding store.
1. Log in to SmartPush, go to the store management page, and when you intend to unbind a store, you can click on the "..." button for the corresponding store, and then click on Unlink.
2. After clicking Unlink, in order to prevent malicious unbinding, a verification code will be sent to your account email. Once you enter the verification code, the unbinding process will be completed successfully.
3. If all stores under the account are unlinked (unbound), the page will automatically navigate to the e-Commerce platform selection page. (Before entering the system’s homepage, it's required to have at least one linked store. Therefore, in this scenario, you will be directed back to the e-Commerce platform selection page.)
