SmartPush now introduces a dedicated block for displaying abandoned checkout product details in automation flows. This improves the accuracy and relevance of abandoned checkout emails and reduces the risk of customer complaints.

Overview
The Abandoned Checkout Product Block automatically pulls product data from customers who entered the checkout page but didn’t complete payment. It provides more accurate and focused content compared to the old Order Information block.
Note: This block is only compatible with the Go to Checkout trigger. Other triggers will not populate any data. |
Supported Trigger
- Supported: Go to Checkout
- Not supported: Order Created, Add to Cart, etc.
When attempting to activate a flow that uses this block without the “Go to Checkout” trigger, activation will be blocked with an error message: “Please select the trigger of go to checkout or remove the block of abandoned checkout product in your email.”
What’s in the Block
Fields included:
- Product name
- Product image
- Quantity
- Unit price
- Total price
Note: Shipping cost and order number are not available at this stage. |
How to Configure
- Drag the Abandoned Checkout Product Block into your email layout.
- Customize the appearance (background, margins).
- Save and confirm the trigger used is "Go to Checkout".
Best Practices
- Use this block only for abandoned checkout flows.
- Do not reuse the Order Information block in this scenario—it may show inaccurate or missing data.
- Combine this block with incentive-based content (e.g., discount codes) to increase recovery rates.
