How the countdown works

There are two types of countdown: fixed date and fixed duration.

  1. Fixed date: This refers to a fixed time where the end time shows specific years, months, and days. The countdown block will display days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
  2. Fixed duration: This refers to a fixed countdown time length. The start time is the moment when the recipient first opens the email, and the end time is the point that occurs after the specified fixed duration.

Both the above countdown timers have a default end state as 00:00:00:00 upon expiry. You can also customize the display state of the end time in "Expiration time."
