SmartPush is designed around your customers’ core conversion journey—from visiting your store, browsing products, adding to cart, checking out, to completing an order. It provides ready-to-use automation strategies to help you convert first-time visitors into customers.

With pre-configured workflows, you can simply set up discount settings and activate the solution with one click. This reduces setup time, drives first-time purchases, and helps recover potential lost sales.

This guide walks you through how to set up, activate, and monitor Your Starter Kit.

Note:

  • The Your Starter Kit module is only available to new users. Existing users cannot view or use it.
  • Some solutions include paid features. If you do not upgrade your plan after the free trial ends, the related tasks will be automatically paused. For more details, refer to the SmartPush pricing and plan guide.

Enabling the Solution

Step 1: Select and Review Tasks

Go to SmartPush > Your starter kit.

Each solution includes pre-configured tasks based on customer behavior. Review the available strategies and ensure the relevant tasks are selected:

First-time visitor conversion strategy

  • Spin wheel pop-up: Collect customer information through pop-ups and convert visitors into subscribers
  • Welcome email automation: Send welcome emails to new subscribers to encourage their first purchase

Win-back strategy for inactive customers

  • Abandoned Product Recovery: Send emails to customers who viewed a product or collection page but did not place an order
  • Abandoned Cart Recovery: Send emails to customers who added products to the cart but did not complete checkout
  • Abandoned Checkout: Send emails to customers who entered checkout but did not complete payment

Step 2: Configure Discount Settings

For applicable tasks, configure the discount under Discount settings. You can select or adjust the discount value (e.g., 10%) directly in the solution panel.

Notes:

  • Discount settings in the solutions may be linked to configurations in your store Admin. To create or manage discount settings, please refer to "Using the Discount Block in SmartPush" for detailed instructions.
  • For spin wheel pop-ups, the configured discount will apply to all reward options by default.
  • To assign different rewards, click Edit on the pop-up card to customize the prize settings.

Step 3: Edit or Activate Tasks

Click Edit on any task card to adjust its content or settings. For more information on pop-up forms and automation task settings, please refer to:

Step 4: Activate the Marketing Solution

After confirming the setup for all required strategies, click Activate your marketing solution with one click to enable all selected tasks.
