Integrating Wishlist App

Wishlist App lets customers save items they are interested in for later purchase. With the SmartPush integration, you can automatically capture "Added to Wishlist" events, create audience segments, and run personalized email or SMS campaigns to encourage conversions and cross-selling.

Connecting Wishlist to SmartPush

Before you start, ensure the Wishlist app is installed in your Shopline store.

Then, follow these steps in SmartPush:

1. In SmartPush, go to Apps > Integrations.

2. Find Wishlist and click Authorize.

   1. If Wishlist is already installed, you’ll enter the authorization flow.

   2. If not installed, you’ll be redirected to the App Store to install it. After installation, return to SmartPush to continue authorization.

3. Enable the Webhook switch in the Wishlist app settings.

4. Review and confirm the authorization.

Once connected, a green Authorized label will appear next to Wishlist.

Managing Wishlist Data

After authorization, SmartPush will begin syncing Wishlist events, including:

• Added to Wishlist (trigger event)

• Event attributes such as source (e.g., user action or merchant import)

You can view and use this data for:

• Segmenting customers who added specific products to their Wishlist

• Targeting based on conditions like stock level, time added, or purchase history

For Example: 

You can create a segment for “Customers who added Product A to Wishlist in the past 30 days but haven’t purchased, and Product A stock < 10.” 

Then, send them a marketing email to drive urgency.

Creating Automation for Wishlist Events

To automatically follow up with Wishlist customers:

1. Go to Automations > Create a Flow.

2. Select Event Trigger> App Integration >Wishlist: Added to Wishlist as the trigger.

3. Add filters such as product ID, date added, or source.

4. Set actions such as sending an email, SMS, or assigning the customer to a segment.

SmartPush will automatically trigger the flow each time a customer adds an item to their Wishlist.

Disconnecting Wishlist App

To remove the integration:

1. Go to Apps > Integrations > Wishlist.

2. Click Unauthorize next to the integration.

   • A pop-up will confirm: “Are you sure you want to deauthorize the Wishlist app?”

   • Upon deauthorization, SmartPush will no longer sync Wishlist data.

3. Select a reason for deauthorization and confirm.
