Overview

The new Automation Editor introduces:

  • Flexible triggers and filters for building more advanced workflows
  • Improved performance and reliability to ensure smooth automation runs
  • A redesigned editing interface with clearer workflow visualization
  • Full compatibility with all existing automation types

To take advantage of these improvements, we recommend migrating your existing automations to the new editor as soon as possible.

Identifying Automations Using the Old Editor

  1. Go to SmartPush > Automations > Marketing Automation > Automations > Task List.
  2. If you have automations created with the old editor, you will not see a label “New editor” under the task name.

  3. These automations without the label as “New editor”  will be categorized as “Old Editor” for easy identification.

Migration Steps

Step 1: Identify and Close Old Automations

  • For draft automations, click Delete under the Actions column.
  • For active automations, continue to Step 2.

Step 2: Recreate Automations in the New Editor

  1. Open the old automation and note down its setup, including:
    • Trigger conditions
    • Filters
    • Frequency settings

  2. If the automation includes emails you want to reuse:
    • Open the email and click Save Template.

  3. Go back to the Automation Task List and click Create a flow.

  4. Rebuild the automation in the new editor using the same configuration and select the saved email templates.
  5. Once the new automation is activated and confirmed to work correctly, delete the old version.

What Happens If You Don’t Migrate

Automations created in the old editor will no longer receive updates or technical maintenance.
To ensure continued stability and access to new automation features, please complete migration as soon as possible.
