Customizable variables can be used to send personalized email/SMS content to recipients.

 

how to use?

①. Personalized variables support one-click insertion in scenarios marked with "[X]", as shown in the following example:

②. Support manual input of variable words. If the corresponding data can be obtained in the corresponding scenario, the real information will be replaced and displayed in the email content. If it is not obtained, it will not be displayed in the email content.

For example, to get a variable on the store homepage, enter [[shopURL]]

 

The custom variables are as follows:

1. [[shopName]]

a. In tests and official emails/text messages, replace the [[shopName]] position with the real name of the store. If not, it will not be displayed in the corresponding position.

b. Usage scenario: Use this variable in the subject, email body, and text message body

 

2. [[shopURL]]

a.In tests and official emails/text messages, replace it with the corresponding website homepage link. (Sample link to website homepage: https://smartpushpro1.shoplineapp.com/)

b. Usage scenarios: Used in scenarios where buttons, graphics, text, etc. need to be jumped.

 

3. [[contact.firstName]]

a. Get the first name of the recipient to replace the entered position. If not, it will not be displayed in the corresponding position.

b. Usage scenarios: Use this variable in the subject, email body, and text message body.

c. Test that the corresponding location in the text message/email displays [[contact.firstName]]

d. Obtain the first name of the recipient from the official text message/email and display it. If there is no first name, it will not be displayed.

 

4. [[contact.lastName]]

a. Get the last name of the recipient to replace the entered position. If not, it will not be displayed in the corresponding position.

b. Usage scenarios: Use this variable in the subject, email body, and text message body.

c. Test that the corresponding location in the text message/email displays [[contact.lastName]]

d. Obtain the last name of the recipient from the official text message/email and display it. If there is no last name, it will not be displayed.

 

5. [[contact.name]]

a. Gets the full name of the recipient, usually displayed in concatenation of first name & last name. to replace the input position. If not, it will not be displayed in the corresponding position.

b. Usage scenarios: Use this variable in the subject, email body, and text message body.

c. Test that the corresponding location in the text message/email displays [[contact.name]]

d. Obtain the full name of the recipient from the official text message/email and display it. If there is no full name, it will not be displayed.

 

6. [[contact.email]]

a. Get the recipient's subscription email address to replace the entered position. If not, it will not be displayed in the corresponding position.

b. Usage scenario: Use this variable in the body of emails and text messages.

c. Test that the corresponding location in the text message/email displays [[contact.email]]

d. The recipient must be subscribed to the email address obtained from the official text message/email for display. If there is none, it will not be displayed.

 

7. [[contact.phone]]

a. Get the recipient's subscription mobile phone number to replace the entered position. If not, it will not be displayed in the corresponding position.

b. Usage scenario: Use this variable in the body of emails and text messages.

c. Test that the corresponding location in the text message/email displays [[contact.phone]]

d. The recipient must subscribe to the mobile phone number obtained from the official text message/email for display. If there is none, it will not be displayed.

 

8. [[orderUrl]]

a. Get the recipient’s order details page link

b. Usage scenario: Automation that uses order creation and order completion as triggers can obtain the link to the order details page of the order placed by the recipient (view trigger)

 

9. [[memberCentre]]

a. Get the store’s member center link and jump to the member center page

b. Usage scenarios: Jumpable blocks of email content (buttons, graphics, pictures), text message content

 

10. [[couponcenterUrl]]

a.Get the store's coupon center link and jump to the coupon center page.

b.Usage scenarios: Jumpable blocks of email content (buttons, graphics, pictures), text message content.

 

11. [[cartUrl]]

a. Jump to the cart page
b. Usage Scenario: Automation that uses [Product added to cart] and [Go to checkout] as triggers can obtain the link to the recipient's cart page.
