Mobile Stacking

Overview

SmartPush's "mobile stacking" feature in the email editor allows you to activate responsive designs for your email content, ensuring optimal display on both desktop and mobile devices. This article introduces the timing for using mobile stacking in your SmartPush emails.

In this article, you will learn:

The blocks that might involve mobile layout issues

Some email layouts can be displayed properly on PCs, but will be distorted on mobile devices due to limited screen width. It is thus better to display information in a single column on mobile devices. SmartPush email editor supports the mobile stacking feature for the "2 columns (Add rows)", "Product", "Graphics", and "Multiple images" block on mobile devices for displaying content in a single column.

Enable/disable “Single column display on mobile”

When the "Single column display on mobile" feature is enabled, the email content will be displayed in one single column. When it’s disabled, the content will be displayed on mobile devices the same way it is on desktop.

*Note: If you add a "2 columns" block for your email and include the "Product", "Graphics", or "Multiple images" block in it, please check if those blocks are shown as intended.

For example, you add a "2 columns" block, and add a "Multiple images" block in each column.

To show 2 pictures in one row, you need to enable "Single column display on mobile" for the "2 columns" block and disable the feature for both "Multiple images" blocks.

To show 1 picture in one row, you need to enable "Single column display on mobile" for the "2 columns" block and both "Multiple images" blocks.
