When your brand logo fails to display correctly in the email, it is likely caused by incomplete settings or missing certifications. This article outlines the possible reasons and provides troubleshooting instructions.
This article will cover the following:
1. Set up custom brand domain
To display your brand logo in the email, you must complete the custom domain setup. If you haven't completed the setup, please go to SmartPush Admin > [Settings], find the "Sender domain", and click Add domain. Then, follow the instructions to complete domain authentication. Please refer to this article for more information.
2. Set up BIMI
BIMI is an important standard for displaying logos in emails. When setting up a custom domain, please upload your logo and related information to complete the BIMI authentication. For more information, please refer to this article.
i. VMC
Email service providers such as Gmail require a valid VMC (Verified Mark Certificate). Please ensure you have a valid VMC. SmartPush doesn't provide VMC purchasing services. If you already have a VMC, please contact SmartPush team (info@smartpushedm.com) for assistance with the setup.
ii. Good domain reputation
Email service providers such as Yahoo! don't strictly require a VMC (Verified Mark Certificate), but they still require the domain to have a good reputation. After completing the BIMI authentication, it is necessary to consistently follow the guidelines of email service providers when sending emails to build a good domain reputation for displaying the logo.
