01: Expanding user base with pop-ups

Pop-ups effectively help e-commerce websites convert traffic into users. In SmartPush, we recommend configuring three types of pop-ups:

  • Welcome subscription pop-up
  • Abandoned cart retention pop-up
  • Promotional campaign pop-up

How to configure:

Go to 'Pop-ups & forms' > 'Template library' in the menu, choose a template that suits your style, enter the form editor page, and click 'Activate' on the top right after you're done configuring.

💡Marketing tips:

  • The welcome pop-up sets the first impression. We suggest using high-quality brand images;
  • Utilize spin wheel pop-ups to increase subscription rates;
  • Display a limited-time discount pop-up when users are about to leave the cart to retain them.

02: AI assistance for captivating emails

Recommendations:

  • Make sure Booster email subject differs from the first;
  • Keep a 48-hour gap between the first campaign and Booster campaign to prevent email platforms (like Gmail) from stacking them together.

Gmail Promotions tab:

Utilize the new Gmail Promotion tab feature to highlight discounts in the email list view (like in the image)

03: Recovering abandoned carts

Abandoned orders are crucial in e-commerce; over 70% of carts are abandoned before sale completion hence why merchants all put so much emphasis on this aspect.

SmartPush can help you easily and efficiently retrieve large amounts of abandoned orders.

How to configure:

Configure from SmartPush admin panel:

Go to 'Data Analytics' > 'Checkout Recovery', activate 'Abandoned checkout automated marketing‘

marketing'Configure from SHOPLINE admin panel:
Go to 'Settings' > 'Notifications', click 'Advanced settings'

If you agree to activate, abandoned cart recall emails in SHOPLINE will automatically close and no longer be supported. Please confirm first before deciding to select 'Yes, enable it'.

Once you've activated and logged in SmartPush, you can start configuring abandoned cart settings, choosing preset visual emails, entering send times and abandoned order discounts to quickly initiate the abandoned cart recovery process.

Alternatively, you can select 'Add strategies', enter SmartPush's automation process to customize your automation workflow.

💡Marketing tips:

In SmartPush, go to 'Data analytics' > 'Abandoned cart marketing' to view two data dashboards for direct insights into abandoned cart data.

  • Best abandoned cart send time: analyze abandoned cart conversion and conversion time to find the optimal send time for success

Other automated emails:

In SmartPush, apart from the vital abandoned cart scenario, you can find automated emails covering the entire shopping process and user lifecycle in 'Automation' > 'Automation templates'.
